Learning Portfolio Administrator_Part Time
Role Description
**Paid part-time administrator role – 3 days a week temporary contract to 31 March 2015 (possibility of extension), London office – Immediate start**
Engineers Without Borders UK is looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our Learning Portfolio and assist in the delivery of our Learning Portfolio programmes. The EWB-UK Learning Portfolio aims at informing and educating people – in particular engineers – about the role of engineering in international development and poverty alleviation worldwide. Our programmes include ‘Outreach’ – delivering workshops to school age children; ‘The EWB Challenge’ – a team -design programme embedded into higher education engineering curriculum; ‘Global Dimension in Engineering Education’ – focused on supporting academics to change their curriculum; and ‘Training’ – delivering workshops to engineers interested in human development. This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in education and training with a passion for global issues and/or engineering/technical subjects. EWB-UK believes in fair-pay and therefore commits to the London Living Wage.
The role holder will be based in the EWB-UK office in London, reporting to the Head of Learning, Research & Innovation and supporting the work of our volunteer programme leaders.
The role can be a great stepping stone into a career in the third sector, but it will also be an opportunity to develop a number of transferable skills in other areas.

Engineers Without Borders-UK:
International Partnerships Administrator_Part-Time
Role Description
** Paid part-time administrator role – 3 days per week – temporary contract – 12 weeks: 5 January to 29 March 2015 – London office **
The International Partnerships Administrator will support the Interim Head of International Partnerships in the delivery of our IPprogrammes. Tasks will include monitoring & evaluation of current placements, assisting in the planning of a pre-departure training course and of a debrief event, and supporting the team during the placements recruitment process. You will have the opportunity to work across three of our programmes: EWB-UK Placements, International Education and Member-Led Partnerships.
Based in the EWB-UK office, you will report to the Interim Head of International Partnerships and support the work of four volunteer programmes Coordinators.
You will be enthusiastic about international development and humanitarian engineering, as well as the role of engineering in alleviating poverty worldwide. Ideally you would have experience in communications, and some basic website content management experience.
EWB-UK believes in fair pay and therefore commits to the London Living Wage.
