<p>The report’s launch was celebrated at an interactive discussion with Prof. Robert Chambers and Dr Alistair Cockburn at the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory on Tuesday 27th September. This event mirrored the report’s theme by bringing together ICT and development in a spirit of innovation that is continued throughout this report.</p>
<p>The publication represents a culmination of a year’s activities focused on ICT4D run by the Humanitarian Centre and offers a condensed, interesting and informative look at key issues concerning ICT4D. The case studies found in the report offer crucial insight into some of the inspiring work happening across the globe with links to Cambridge. The successes, challenges and lessons learnt from the projects are distilled into ten key findings that we hope will inspire and contribute to the continuing dialogue on this important aspect of development with relevance well beyond Cambridge.</p>
