The Humanitarian Centre is committed to offering good quality internships to young people looking for experience in the sector. We also occasionally advertise for paid staff at the Humanitarian Centre or with other Cambridge organisations.

We currently host two 10-month internships, placed by EWB (Engineers Without Borders) UK. They start in September of each year and are usually advertised in April / May. Interns are responsible for running Humanitarian Centre programmes, and are involved in every aspect of the organisation.

We can also offer shorter voluntary placements over vacations, usually involving work on one specific project. Please contact us if you might be interested in such an opportunity.

A unique and exciting opportunity to be one of EWB-UK’s small staff team and to support our international work. The job-holder will support the EWB-UK Placements Programme by supporting a team of Placements Programme volunteers in delivering our most direct contributions to the relief of poverty around the world.
