EWB-UK national executive positions
EWB-UK (Engineers Without Borders) is recruiting for the 2010/11 National Executive Co-ordinators and the National Executive Teams. Roles are for a period of one year, with the possibility of a one year extension to a maximum of two years in role.
Two positions are still available:
Fundraising Co-ordinator
The Fundraising Co-ordinator is responsible for raising over £130,000 that EWB-UK needs to support our growing programmes in poverty alleviation. We need a charismatic, confident leader who can represent the organisation and inspire people from the man in the street all the way up to board members of multinational engineering firms.
This is an awesome challenge and a fantastic opportunity to develop skills that will be invaluable to you in the future. This vital role has a wide network of support within EWB-UK including a team of volunteers and mentoring from professional fundraisers and directors of engineering firms.

Finance Co-ordinator
EWB-UK is a rapidly growing organisation. The finance team plays an important role in keeping the systems running smoothly and efficiently.
The Finance Co-ordinator will maintain the finances of an organisation with a turnover of about £250,000 (growing year on year), oversee the expenditure of considerable restricted funds and drive the organisation’s budgeting process.
