Training
The Humanitarian Centre runs a training programme for member organisations and people volunteering and working in international development organizations. Previous topics include finance, social media,managing volunteers and children’s participation in development. Please join our mailing list if you want to hear about our latest training sessions.
Courses
The Humanitarian Centre supports a number of educational activities and courses.
- The Cambridge International Development Course (IDC), a day-long series of lectures and workshops on a range of development topics. The IDC takes place pnce or twice a year, in May and/or December. - The Certificate in International Development is a year- long Certificate programme run by the Institute of Continuing Education. For more information please click here
- The Humanitarian Centre Annual Lecture brings an expert on international development to Cambridge each year. The 2013 Annual Lecture will be given by Bernard Rivers on the topic of “How the Global Fund revolutionised the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria: What worked, what didn’t, and what next?”.
