2009 Annual Lecture

  • The 2009 Annual Lecture took place on 2nd March 2009 at Emmanuel College. A packed auditiorium listened to Jane Cocking, Humanitarian Director of Oxfam, whose spoke on the theme: "Whose World is it anyway? Humanitarian Dilemmas and Debates". The talk was followed by a reception at the Old Library. The podcast will be available soon.

New intern

  • Humanitarian Centre is delighted to welcome Mark Corbin to the team. mark will work on aspects of enterprise and innovation in the humanitarian sector.

Recording equipment

  • Humanitarian Centre has coordinated a grant application by a number of Cambridge University student societies to buy recording equiment to record some of the many talks held in Cambridge each week.
